Fundraising BBQ for Lawrence Heights

IMG_0884Special Message from the JayCee Athletics Program —  On April 10th, 2013, the amazing people at Osgoode Hall Law School at York University held a BBQ Fundraiser for JayCee Athletics. All the proceeds of the fundraiser are being used toward buying more equipment for the athletic program. The event was absolutely amazing, and the generoisty, the support, and the encouragement provided by everyone in attendance was overwhelming. Zac Vine described it as “one of the happiest days of my life”. JayCee Athletics will be forever grateful to the students, staff, and faculty at Osgoode and York University. A very special thanks to Susannah Alleyne, Camille Dunbar, Lawrence Schwartz, Clinton Green, and Jenn Aubrey who helped to make it all possible. Also, JayCee Athletics would like to thank the amazing youth athletes that came out and volunteered their time to help! The fundraiser raised more then $1100 for JayCee Athletics!

The Jaycee Athletics Program is a community initiative that provides an after school tutoring program and structured workout routine for at-risk youth, with the ultimate objective of improving high school graduation rates and post-secondary enrolment. We are raising funds to provide much needed equipment and scholastic material to support the students who attend the program.
