BLSA’s Open Letter to Osgoode

Over two years ago, BLSA Osgoode issued 10 recommendations to Osgoode Hall Law School to combat anti-Black racism within the institution. To this day, only one has been completely fulfilled.

We must be clear: Anti-Black racism does not get to live in our law school. We will not allow it. We are calling on the Osgoode administration to take serious and tangible steps to making our law school an environment where anti-Black racism is called by its name, targeted at its roots, and eradicated entirely.

This is Osgoode’s time to show up and be accountable not only to the Black students it admits but to the Black community and Canada and abroad.
