In recognition of communities in support of Mental Health week, BLSA will be hosting 2 separate wellness sessions for both men and women. The objective of these sessions is to provide a safe space where students of colour can unpack the stress and anxiety of law school, coupled with the effects of being a minority. The hope is that participants engage in a healing process that strengthens their capacity, acknowledge experiences of oppression and form constructive relations with one another to gain control over their lives. With mental health occupying a large space in the legal profession and the black community, it is imperative that a dialogue and action can commence. Please join us for healing, exploration and discussion.
