BLSA Executive Elections and General Meeting

Are you looking to make a difference in the Osgoode community? Are you committed to promoting diversity in the legal profession? If so, then we hope you will consider running for a position on Black Law Students’ Association Executive for the 2013-2014 academic year!

1. NOMINATIONS

Interested candidates must submit a platform (maximum 250 words) by Friday March 15 at 5PM to blsaelections2013@gmail.com.

The following positions are available for nomination:

  • President
  •  Vice President
  •  Secretary
  • Treasurer
  • Black Law Students’ Association of Canada Representative
  • Academic Advisor
  • Mentorship Coordinator
  • Social Coordinator
  • Communications and Information Technology Director

2. VOTING

Platforms will be disseminated on Monday March 18 by the BLSA Elections Officer, Lisa Turik.

Voting will run from Monday March 18 @ 5PM – Thursday March 21 @ 5PM.

3. BLSA GENERAL MEETING

The new Executive will be announced at the next General Meeting to be held on Monday March 25, 12:30-2:30PM (location TBD).
