On January 21, 2016 we celebrate the Honourable Lincoln Alexander Day. Every year, BLSA recognizes the achievements of the Honourable Lincoln Alexander not only through our Black History Month activities, but also through the Honourable Lincoln Alexander Award.
As the Black Law Students’ Association of Osgoode Hall Law School’s 2016 Black History Month Celebration approaches, we invite you to nominate the recipient of the 2016 Lincoln Alexander Award and to recognize the achievements and contributions of our community.
The Honourable Lincoln Alexander ’53 Award was established by the Black Law Students’ Association in 2013 in honour of the Honourable Lincoln M. Alexander, P.C., CC, OOnt, CD, QC, LSM. This year, once again, the Lincoln Alexander Award will be presented at the Black History Month Celebration taking place at Osgoode Hall Law School on the afternoon of Wednesday, February 24th, 2016.
We invite you to nominate candidates by completing the Lincoln Alexander Award nomination form. Please submit the completed form to firstname.lastname@example.org no later than February 5th, 2016.
We also ask that you share this with your various networks in the community.
