The United Black Students at Ryerson is hosting its 7th Annual Black Students Conference on November 13-15th

The weekend will bring together black students from across the country to network and discuss political and social issues that surround the black community.
On Friday, get ready for a launch event in the evening to meet everyone and then at night, we have a pub night at the Ram in the Rye. On Saturday, we will be hosting some amazing workshops on both issue-based topics like misogyny in hip-hop, self-care and mental health but also skill-based topics like drumming workshops, poetry writing and capoeira. With a formal galaon Saturday evening with a three course meal, keynote, performers and dance; this is an event you don’t want to miss. On Sunday, we will end the weekend off with a brunch and an opportunity to network with professionals from various industries.
