BLSA Osgoode is excited to introduce you to our two newest Executive Team members for there 2021/2022 academic year!
Sarah Afriyie completed her undergraduate degree at York University with a major in Law and Society and a minor in Public Policy from York University. This summer, Sarah had the opportunity to work with CreateTO as an intern in their Diversity, Equity and Inclusion team. During her term, she worked with consultants to assess the organization diversity strategy. In addition to this, she facilitated anti-Black racism training sessions, and Indigenous reconciliation sessions for staff.
Sarah absolutely love to cook! While restaurants were closed the past year, she really cultivated her cooking skills.
Joseph Oladimeji completed his undergraduate degree at Queen’s University with a major in Psychology and a certificate in law. This summer, Joseph worked as a Diversity and Equity specialist with Critical Mass Art. He also worked with the Urban Alliance for Race Relation (UARR) as an Anti-racist and Anti-oppression workshop facilitator for the University Health Network (UHN).
Joseph likes to call himself a jack of all trades but he finds that most of his interests certain around the arts and advocacy! He is a dancer, choreographer, occasional stylist, creative director, and foodie!
